Requirements:

  • Active Oregon License
  • Board Certified
  • BLS Certified
  • ACLS Certification, preferred
  • 3+ years experience, preferred

Pay and Benefits:

  • Salary + Productivity bonuses paid monthly

Schedules:

  • Part Time schedule can vary depending on availability and need
  • Consistent and/or predictable availability is necessary in order for us to schedule working-hours well in advance (3 months)
  • Clinic hours:
    Monday - Friday: 8am - 8pm
    Saturday - Sunday: 9am - 6pm

General Position Summary:

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) such as a Physician Assistant (PA) and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high-quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of seasoned healthcare professionals with diverse backgrounds and interests who are passionate about patient care. AFC Urgent Care began its journey in the Portland area in 2010, and we have grown responsibly and quickly to better serve this growing and conscientious community. We operate primarily on a walk-in basis in all six clinics located across the Pacific Northwest in key locations to provide accessible and affordable care. Prior experience in Urgent or Emergency Care and Family Practice is preferred, but we are open to explore and utilize providers with other backgrounds and help build careers as well; new graduates may apply.

We are looking for providers who are efficient, professional, with positive attitudes and who understand the dynamic nature of this ever-changing industry and its challenges. This is a team-orientated staff, that builds and maintains relationships with a reliance on communication, mentorship, and shared goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Examining, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages and backgrounds courteously and efficiently
  • In addition to Urgent Care and limited-scope Primary Care, services include Occupational Medicine, Travel Medicine and Immigration Physicals
  • Maintain charts accurately and comprehensively
  • Creating diagnostic and treatment plans, sometimes including the prescription of medications, suturing, ordering of labs/ medical imaging, or referring to outside specialists
  • Guide the staff with your medical expertise and experience
  • Operate as a team alongside providers, medical assistants and practice management staff
