Medical Scribe: A medical scribe is someone who specializes in charting physician-patient encounters in an electronic medical records (EMR) system during medical examinations. 

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Healthcare track (pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing, etc..) is required, OR previous experience as a Medical Scribe. 

Pay and Benefits:

  • $15.50 / hour
  • Performance-driven bonuses paid monthly

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: The duties will be performed in accordance with policy and procedure. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Capture accurate and detailed documentation for medical visits and procedures as directed by providers
  • Document in real-time demonstrating a typing speed of 60+ WPM 
  • Contribute to smooth and efficient clinic workflows
  • Assist in organizing and performing chart preparation
  • Demonstrate high levels of professionalism, recognition of the importance of patient privacy
  • Assist with operations as needed by the provider
