Marketing Manager - The Marketing Manager’s job is to promote the business and services of the AFC Urgent Care brand by making sure that the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective business-to-business customers and patients. 

 

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on managing agencies, vendors, and budgets.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, social media, and content marketing.

  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with event planning and community engagement.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing performance tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media dashboards).

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

  • Experience in healthcare marketing or a multi-location business.

  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.

Schedules & Location:

  • Full-time, ~40 hrs/week.

  • Traditional business hours Monday - Friday (with occasional evenings and weekends for events)

  • Traditional office setting with site locations in Tigard or Hillsboro. Working from home is appropriate at times as approved by the supervisor. 

  • The work environment is a corporate office space but can occasionally require clinical visits and working indirectly with patients, clinical staff, and providers.

 

General Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager is a results oriented professional who coordinates the work of the various external vendors, agencies and consultants to deliver the best marketing for AFC Urgent Care PNW’s clinics to target patients. This position is responsible for working with the Managing Partner and helping him execute flawlessly on the marketing strategy set for 2025 and beyond. The Marketing Manager also works closely with clinical teams, operations, and the Managing Partner on branding and patient-facing communication. 

In addition to the above, the Marketing Manager’s duties will include projects related to new clinic openings and public relations. Our ideal candidate is someone who embraces AFC’s Core Purpose and Values. Please note, the items listed below are not all-inclusive of the standards expected of AFC.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Agency and Vendor Management:

  • Oversee the external marketing agency responsible for blog writing, social media content, creative design, and website content updates.

  • Collaborate with the website vendor to maintain and optimize website functionality, design, and user experience.

  • Ensure agencies and vendors are held accountable for achieving agreed-upon performance targets and deliverables.

Community Engagement:

  • Plan and manage community events to promote brand visibility and awareness of urgent care services.

  • Serve as a representative of the clinics at community events, fostering relationships with local partners and stakeholders.

Internal Coordination:

  • Work closely with the clinic operations management team to address local marketing needs, including print materials, signage, and patient-facing communications.

  • Provide marketing support for clinic-specific initiatives and ensure consistent messaging across locations.

Marketing Strategy and Budget Management:

  • Execute the annual marketing strategy, ensuring all activities align with the goals and objectives set at the beginning of the year.

  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and timely allocation of resources.

Team Collaboration and Meetings:

  • Lead weekly marketing meetings to review progress, set priorities, and align stakeholders on ongoing initiatives.

 Performance Monitoring:

  • Develop and track digital marketing KPIs, including website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, and social media engagement.

  • Analyze performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize marketing efforts.
